Jacksonville Sports Hall of Fame Luncheon

This isn’t your average luncheon. This event takes place right in the middle of the rink at the Community First Igloo. This annual benefit is to induct members into the Jacksonville Sports Hall of Fame located at the Igloo and hear from a keynote speaker.

Golf Tournament, presented by Cimarrone Golf Club

This exclusive outing gives guests an opportunity to participate in a day of golf with their favorite Jacksonville Icemen players and friends on the newly renovated Cimarrone Golf course

Poker Tournament, presented by Bestbet

Fans have the opportunity to go head-to-head with Jacksonville Icemen players for a Texas Hold ‘Em style tournament.

Learn to Skate with the Jacksonville Icemen

Become an Icemen player for a day during a practice at Community First Igloo. Learning to skate can be intimidating, but not with the support from Icemen players. After a pre-practice huddle with coach, join the Icemen players and coaches as they help students learn to skate with confidence and, when they are ready, take a shot on our goalie. Students will receive an event shirt and skate with their friends for a fun afternoon at the Community First Igloo.

Street Hockey

Our Street Hockey program introduces hockey at the grassroots level to kids who may not otherwise have the opportunity. The program brings hockey out into our community with our fully equipped, inflatable street hockey rink. This rink can travel to schools, community centers and other places where kids can play in a safe and organized environment.

Jr. Icemen Scholarship Program

The cost to fully dress out with equipment can cost youth hockey families anywhere between $500 to $1,000 each year. This makes hockey one of the most expensive sports. Our scholarship program takes this burden off our families and provides funds to Jr. Icemen in need of support to be able to play.

Sled Hockey

With our partnership with Brooks Rehabilitation Adaptive Sports and Recreation program, we provide discounted ice rental so that no matter how you move on the ice, you can participate in the fun.

Player Appearances

Our players are committed to giving back to the communities and fans who cheer them on every game. Each month, players will go out into our communities and volunteer their time to organizations who need our support.

Fundraising

We help our communities reach their fundraising goals while cheering on the team at our games. We work with local organizations by providing different opportunities where they will receive a portion of proceeds. We offer ticket deals, 50/50 raffles, Chuck A Puck and auctions. Through this program, we have given $1.5 million back to the communities we serve since 2017.
