Ken Vezina joined the Icemen in 2021 and Zawyer Sports & Entertainment in 2023. He oversees partnerships, sponsorships, partnership management and B2B relationships for all Zawyer Sports entities. Vezina also connects Zawyer Sports clients with its 32 Degrees Marketing agency.

A native of Winnipeg, MB, Vezina started his career in his hometown with the AHL’s Manitoba Moose before making his initial move to Jacksonville to join the Barracudas of the Southern Professional Hockey League in 2004. After five seasons in various positions culminating as the Assistant General Manager and Vice President of Business Operations, he moved to Augusta, GA, to help launch the Augusta RiverHawks in the same league. He spent three seasons in Augusta as Vice President before heading back to the Great White North to help launch the ECHL’s Brampton Beast as the Vice President of Business Development.

After five seasons with the Beast, Ken jumped into a different sport, working for Golf Canada before joining the Oak View Group and the Canadian Elite Basketball League as their Director of National Partnerships. Vezina worked closely with league leadership to navigate the challenges of COVID through three seasons before having the opportunity to return to North Florida and join the Icemen, the Community First Igloo and Zawyer Sports.

Away from the office, Ken enjoys giving back to the Jacksonville hockey community through coaching several youth teams and spending time with his wife, Anna, and his two sons.
